Description: Do some work for a local newspaper. Investigate community attitudes to a development planned for a local park. Look at development plans for the site. Interview three people at a public meeting to find out more about their opinions. Read opinions expressed in letters to the editor. Then match each letter to the person who expressed the same opinions at the public meeting. Answer questions about word choice and the structure of the letters. As you go, look up the meaning of tricky words. This learning object is one in a series of five objects.
